The 2 Best Poconos Waterparks to Visit

Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark

The Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark is a great place for the whole family to have a blast! There are plenty of rides and slides suitable for children, ranging from lazy rivers to wave pools and more.

The whole family can enjoy several different adventures, and in fact, Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark is known as Pennsylvania’s biggest family water park. Some tubes can hold up to four people, so you can all have fun together!

Save time and buy your tickets in advance online! That way, you can skip the lines when you arrive and head straight through the gates to start having fun! Camelbeach opens for the summer season on May 25th.

If you’re not quite ready to head indoors for the day after you’ve had your fill of the water park, stop by Camelback Mountain Adventures. Here, you’ll find zip lines, a mountain coaster, and more.

Kalahari Resort Indoor Waterpark

Do you want to go to a waterpark, but bad weather rained on your plans? Head to an indoor waterpark!

At a whopping 220,000 square feet, the Poconos Kalahari Resort Indoor Waterpark is “America’s Largest Indoor Waterpark!” Kids and adults alike will love exploring this massive waterpark, which practically has every kind of waterpark activity imaginable, and then some. There’s even a swim-up grotto bar for the adults!

Despite its size, you can expect the park to be quite clean, and the lines move along rather quickly. It will be crowded though, especially if you go during a busy time of year (like spring break). One way you can avoid this is to go earlier in the day or later in the evening. It’s a good idea to get your day pass in advance online, as there is limited availability.

While the indoor waterpark is the main attraction, there’s also an outdoor waterpark that you’ll have access to if you buy a day pass for the indoor park. If it’s a nice day outside, this is a great place to spend some time.

The Best Waterpark is a Natural One!

Of course, nothing beats the experience of water activities in the great outdoors, especially in a beautiful region like the Poconos. Miles of pristine rivers and streams wind through the forested mountains, offering excellent opportunities for whitewater raftingkayaking, and more.
