Where to Find the Best Go-Karts in the Poconos
Pocono Go-Karts and Play Park
Home of the largest go-karting park in the area! Pocono Go-Karts and Play Park is also the only park that offers two different tracks for adults and children.
The adult go-kart track is 1400 feet long and even has a tunnel that runs under a bridge! Choose from a single-seater or two-seater kart, and speed off down the course. In the summer, you can race during the night—the track is fully lit.
The prices at Pocono Go-Karts are reasonable, and you can generally expect that it won’t be too crowded. Be sure to take a look at their pricing before you go, as they offer some specials and package deals. Plus, if you want to take a break from the go-karts, there’s also target paintball and a mini-golf course for the kids.
Prokart Racing at the Pocono Raceway
If you have kids that are a little bit older (at least 14 years old) or you’re a child-at-heart looking for a fun way to spend a few hours, check out Prokart Racing at the Pocono Raceway.
With this 3-hour experience, you will race along the south course of the Pocono Raceway. Fly along at speeds upwards of 50 MPH while sitting just an inch off the ground!
Karts, racing suits, helmets, and trophies are all provided. All you have to do is bring your competitive spirit! You’ll be put on a team that competes against other teams, with the winning team being the one who completes the most number of laps during the 3-hour race.
S&S Speedways
Rainy day? No worries, head on over to S&S Speedways! It’s a family-owned and operated indoor go-kart track, so the weather won’t keep you from having fun. They are open seasonally, however, so be sure to check before you go.
S&S Speedways also has specials on specific days of the month, so be sure to take a look before you plan your trip. You can even have a racing party if you’ve got a special event you’d like to celebrate!
