You’ll Be Amazed by the Unique Adventures at Pocono Tree Ventures
The Pocono Mountains abound with natural beauty, and there are all kinds of ways to experience it. From more leisurely excursions to activities that will get your heart racing, you’ve got a long list to choose from when it comes to outdoor recreation. If you are looking for an activity that breaks from the norm and delivers an adrenaline rush, consider making a trip to Pocono Tree Ventures!
What You’ll Discover During Your Adventure At Pocono Tree Ventures
Pocono Tree Ventures provides you with the opportunity to enjoy a thrilling treetop experience, testing your skills as you tackle obstacles high above the ground. Try your hand at maneuvering and climbing between platforms high above the ground on their aerial adventures rope course!
There are five different courses of varying difficulty at Pocono Tree Ventures—you can choose your challenge depending on your level of comfort. As you progress through a course, you can expect to do everything from balancing on rope walks and swinging on wire walkways to climbing platforms and zip lining between trees.
Beyond the Aerial Rope Courses
Pocono Tree Ventures also offers a few other adventures aside from the courses. Fly through the air on the Pocono Zip Racer, and you’ll earn bragging rights along with an adrenaline rush!
If you’re feeling particularly daring, the TruClimb experience is a combination of tree and rock wall climbing. Choose to scale a 24-foot tree or 40-foot tree, gliding smoothly down afterward. It’s a fun twist on a classic challenge!
Before You Go
Pocono Tree Ventures is family-friendly, though there are some age requirements: children under 7 are not allowed to attempt any of the courses. However, there is a KidVentures park for children who are from 4-7 years old, so the little ones can still have fun.
If you’ve never been to a treetop adventure park and are apprehensive, don’t worry! Safety is something that Pocono Tree Ventures takes seriously. Be sure to wear clothing that fits well so it won’t catch on anything and hold you up! Closed-toe shoes are also required.
After Your Adventure
Keep the adrenaline rush going by checking out some of the other things to do in the Pocono Mountains! Try out some of the other zip lines in the area, or head to Camelback Mountain Adventures if you find you enjoy the aerial adventures. Head to the nearby Bushkill Falls, or brave the rapids of the Delaware or Lehigh Rivers and go whitewater rafting. There are plenty of slower-paced, though equally enjoyable, outdoor activities available, too—take a scenic hike to spectacular viewpoints, or spend some time tubing. You’ll never run out of things to do!
