1. Paintball Asylum
You’ll find the Paintball Asylum at the base of Camelback Mountain Resort. There are eight different fields to choose from spread across 30 wooded acres, so there’s plenty of space for everyone! They can also accommodate groups celebrating special occasions like birthdays, bachelor or bachelorette parties, and even corporate team building events.
Even the little ones can have fun at Paintball Asylum! For children age 6 and older, there are low impact paintball guns available. The package also includes paintballs, goggles, a jumpsuit, and chest protector. To take advantage of this option, there must be at least 10 players in the group, and everyone must use the low impact guns.
2. Pocono Mountain Paintball
Head to Pocono Mountain Paintball for some of the best rates around. This family-owned-and-operated business has been around for over 20 years. There are nine playing areas available, ranging from sloped, open fields to wooded areas dotted with bunkers and other structures. There’s also ziplining adventures available here for when you want a different kind of adrenaline rush.
Pocono Mountain Paintball is just outside Jim Thorpe, so after your paintball adventure, you can spend time in the charming town. There’s everything from train rides to shopping to delicious restaurants waiting for you here!
3. Skirmish Paintball
Skirmish Paintball might be the most popular destination for paintball in the Poconos. It features over 50 paintball maps spread out over a whopping 750 acres. You’ll experience just about any kind of terrain you could hope for: Skirmish Paintball has “open fields, dense woods, creeks, bridges, swamps, rhododendron trees, forts, villages, two castles, cargo containers, tanks, airplanes, speedball arenas, as well as inflatable bunkers.”
Don’t be intimidated by the vast array of options! Even if you’ve never played, staff will be on hand to show you the ropes, and Skirmish Paintball has all the equipment you need. There are several different package options, and they accommodate all group sizes—no group is too big or too small.
