3 Ways to Spend a Day at Tobyhanna State Park

1. Hiking 

See the Poconos from a different vantage point when you hike at Tobyhanna State Park! This Pennsylvania state park boats 10 miles of hiking trails for visitors to explore. Choose from three trails, which range from easy to difficult. You’re sure to find a trail that suits your skill level! However, each trail poses its own challenges, so be sure you come prepared with proper hiking boots and water.  

2. Swimming   

There’s no better way to cool off during the summer than with a dip in Tobyhanna State Park’s beach! Visitors can enjoy the sandy beaches at this Pennsylvania State Park seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through mid-September. Be sure to pack a lunch to enjoy at one of the surrounding picnic areas! 

3. Fishing

Tobyhanna Lake is also a great place for fishing in the Poconos. This 170-acre lake is swimming with bass, catfish, various species of trout, and more!
