There’s even an in-house music label! There’s also a full dinner and bar menu, so if you’re looking for somewhere to go for a lively dinner out, the Deer Head Inn is a great choice!
Visit Breakers bar in Wilkes-Barre, PA, for good live music, drinks, and a great time. Found in the Mohegan Pennsylvania, all guests must be over 21 with a valid ID. This concert venue that periodically welcomes big bands sits atop a mountain, making for panoramic views. There is a restaurant on site and a spacious outdoor deck where you can enjoy a drink and marvel at the sweeping vistas before the show. If you’re looking for big name bands but don’t want to drive to the big city to see them, Penn’s Peak is the place to go.
The Sherman Theater is a nonprofit concert hall and community theatre in Stroudsburg. You’ll see everything from concerts to festivals and special events here. Its location downtown means that you’ll be close to restaurants and bars after the show!
Wet Nightclub is an indoor and outdoor nightclub at Mount Airy Casino Resort centered around an 11,000 square foot pool. The outside features fire pits with views of the lake, golf course, and surrounding Pocono Mountains.
The Casino Theatre is more than just a movie theatre. If you’re out on a budget, the Casino Theatre often has specials ranging from dinner and movie combos to $5 movie nights. It’s also been a landmark in the Poconos for quite a while, as this establishment has been around since the 1900s, though not always as a movie theatre.
Pocono Cinema & Cultural Center
Another Poconos movie theatre with a long history is the Pocono Cinema & Cultural Center. It’s a small local theatre and is one of the few theatres in the area that plays non-blockbuster movies, so you can see unique films you might not see anywhere else here. It does get some larger films, so you can still support this local business if you’d prefer seeing a more popular title!
If you prefer live theatre over the movies, head over to the Shawnee Playhouse! This cozy playhouse is a favorite with locals and visitors alike. For a fun night of Poconos entertainment, the Shawnee Playhouse will not disappoint!
