The Poconos Room at Mountaintop Lodge
Stepping into Traditional Room 2 – “Poconos” takes you back to the Poconos-style hotel of the past. This room at our lodge is decorated in a 1940’s style with vintage postcards and a small fold-down secretary’s desk. Plenty of light brightens this second-floor room, which has two east-facing windows and one north-facing window overlooking the backyard and the magnificent sixty year old apple tree.
This room has a unique layout, different from the remainder of the Traditional rooms. Here you have the main room featuring a queen-size bed which is outfitted with Comphy linens and a warm duvet. In the corner of the room is a flat-screen television with DVD player, mounted so that you can swivel it to your preferred angle.
The adjoining “dressing area” gives you a space to store your luggage and belongings out of the way. Here you’ll find a dresser for storage and a hanging bar. A mini refrigerator gives you a place to stash snacks and beverages. This area is also convenient if you are traveling with an infant as a pack and play can be easily accommodated.
Your private bathroom features a small corner shower stall and pedestal sink plus a window overlooking the backyard.
Maximum occupancy for the Poconos Room (Traditional Room #2) is two guests.
